Photo Backup is a personal-use backup application operated by the owner for backing up photos and media files from a Mac to the owner's Google Drive account. It is not a public service and is not intended for use by other users.
Photo Backup uses the Google Drive API to access the user's Google Drive account for the purpose of storing, synchronizing, and maintaining personal backup files.
The application may access files and folders that are necessary for the backup and synchronization process. It does not intentionally access Google data unrelated to the backup function.
Google Drive data is used solely to:
Google user data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit assessment, unrelated analytics, or any other unrelated purpose.
Photo Backup does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. Backup files are stored in the user's own Google Drive account.
Backup files are retained in the user's Google Drive according to the user's backup configuration and remain there until the user deletes them or otherwise changes the backup configuration.
OAuth authorization information used by the backup application is stored locally on the owner's Mac and is not intentionally disclosed to third parties.
The user can delete backup files directly from Google Drive.
The user can revoke Photo Backup's Google account authorization through their Google Account security settings. Revoking authorization prevents the application from continuing to access Google Drive through that authorization.
The backup application runs on the owner's Mac. OAuth credentials and authorization information used for the backup are stored locally and are protected using the operating system's local security mechanisms and account access controls.
This website is informational. It does not require visitors to create an account or sign in, and it does not provide a visitor login service.
Photo Backup's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
